Senior Salesforce Developer/Tech Lead
About the role.
THE WORK
As Salesforce Senior Developer/Tech lead you will be responsible for day-to-day management of both onshore and offshore Salesforce technical teams, coordinating closely with Solution Architects, Technical Architects and Project Managers to deliver customized components, and requires hands-on coding ability in languages such as Apex and Lightning Components.
Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office – depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
LWC & Apex — advanced hands-on development, async processing, governor limits, design patterns (e.g., fflib)
Declarative platform — Flows, validation rules, approval processes; knowing when to go code vs. config
Data modelling & SOQL/SOSL — scalable schema design, query selectivity, indexing, performance tuning
Sharing & visibility — OWD, role hierarchy, sharing rules and their data-access implications
APIs & integrations — REST/SOAP, Connected Apps, Named Credentials, OAuth flows
CI/CD & DevOps tooling — source-driven development (SFDX), pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps / Copado), code quality gates (PMD, SonarQube)
SF CLI — daily usage for metadata ops, org management, scripting
Packaging — unlocked/managed packages for modular and multi-team delivery
Release readiness — understanding of 3×/year release cycle, sandbox preview testing, impact mitigation
Technical leadership — proven experience leading a development team: code reviews, technical mentoring, task delegation, enforcing coding standards and best practices
Certifications — min. 2 (Platform Developer I mandatory)
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Awareness of Salesforce product ecosystem, licensing model, and security features (Shield, Encryption)
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), identity concepts (SSO, MFA), and environment strategies
Experience with SF-integrated products (DocuSign, Conga, CPQ)
